Mechanical Engineering is a branch of engineering that deals with the design, analysis, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems. It is one of the oldest and broadest engineering disciplines, encompassing a wide range of areas including. Mechanical Engineering departments student strength is 220, which will touch higher strength in next few years. While managing this increased strength which is an urgent need of the nation, department is committed to well being and all round development of its students.
Career opportunities for mechanical engineers are diverse and can lead to roles in research and development, design engineering, project management, design, and consulting. The field continues to evolve with advancements in technology, sustainability concerns, and the integration of digital tools like CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and simulation software. With a dedicated, highly qualified and experienced faculty in all specialization of mechanical engineering, the department consistently strives to provide facilities at par for education and research. An interactive relationship is maintained among the students and faculties which enable the students develop a sound foundation in a conducive environment. Every year our students proceed to top universities in India and abroad to pursue their higher education. The department has an excellent industrial interaction and contributes to the industry.
