It gives me immense pleasure to greet and welcome you all on behalf of the entire SANJEEVAN family. I am very much delighted to introduce Sanjeevan Engineering and Technology Institute (SETI); an AICTE approved institute established in the year 2009, located at historical place Panhala, Dist Kolhapur. Set in a village 7kms away from the highway, the campus is not just a retreat from the rush of the city but also provides an environment full of teaching-learning, leading to enlighten the future of technocrats.
We have a fine blend of renowned as well as young and dynamic faculty members, who are continuously involved in imparting quality education. Our distinguished faculty engage students in a unique, interactive learning environment that facilitates student centric academic excellence and prepares our students for their future careers. The Faculty members will undergo Faculty Development Programmes to boost their level of confidence and teaching methodologies. The institute is imparting quality education by focusing on making our students a good human being and successful professionals through strategic teaching in theoretical and practical aspects during the course of education. To enhance the practical knowledge of the students, educational tours, industrial visits and internships are regularly organized to adopt the recent technologies used in the industries. We organize interactive lectures from time to time by inviting Alumni and Technocrats from industries/reputed institutes. With all above, we also organize extra-curricular activities for the holistic development of students.
An effective and efficient placement cell is being operated in the institute to help students to get suitable placements by providing pre-placement trainings. The NSS cell provides a platform to all the students to involve themselves in charitable and social activities. We work closely with Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the Institute and see through the process of accreditation and assure that all the academic programs are in compliance with the national regulatory body’s requirements and meet global standards.
I am honored and privileged to serve as the dean of SETI and look forward to working with faculty, staff, students, alumni and community partners to build upon and enhance existing programs and to develop new opportunities in engineering research and higher education.
